The major disadvantage of taking CBD through an edible is how long it can take to kick in. Some effects from edibles are noticeable in less than an hour; however some edibles will take longer to kick in.
The most traditional way of consuming CBD is by smoking a strain of marijuana that is high in CBD. If you live in a recreationally legal state, most dispensaries carry strains that have a high CBD concentration. If you live in a state with legal medical marijuana, your doctor will recommend a dispensary to get your medical marijuana from.
